How fees work
Insurance we work with
We bill your plan when we can. Some surgery is covered by a dental plan and some by a medical plan, and the desk checks which one before your visit.
Dental plans: in network or out of network, plan by plan. The desk confirms yours.
Medical insurance: for some procedures, such as biopsies and jaw surgery.
Medicaid and CHIP: we say plainly, before you book, whether we take your plan.
If you pay yourself
If you are paying without insurance, you get a written estimate before any treatment. Financing is offered by third-party lenders. Approval and terms are set by the lender.
Receipts for reimbursement
After each visit we give you an itemized statement you can send to your plan, if it reimburses you for care out of network.
An estimate in advance
You can ask for a written estimate before any treatment. If you are paying without insurance, we give you a good faith estimate in writing when you schedule, and before surgery.
Checking your benefits
The desk checks your dental and medical benefits before your first visit and tells you what it found. Your plan decides what it pays. We tell you what you would owe before we start.
Ask the desk about your plan
The desk checks your benefits before the first visit and gives you a written estimate before any treatment.
